HMI is driven by a passion to share the message of Christ where He is unknown, following the model set by the Apostle Paul in Romans 15:20. We believe that Jesus is the only true hope for humanity, and our mission is to bring His love and grace to the most underserved places in the world.

Through God’s guidance, we have the privilege of coming alongside the local church for discipleship and ministry in El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala. In these communities, we’re not just preaching the gospel—we’re meeting physical needs, such as medical treatment, alongside offering spiritual renewal through Christ, the Living Water. Our vision is to see lives transformed both spiritually and physically, ensuring that people experience the full breadth of God’s care.

We’re committed to seeing the name of Jesus lifted high in every country we serve, continuing to build and strengthen the churches He’s called us to. Our work doesn’t stop with planting; we’re dedicated to fostering long-term growth and impact, always faithful to His calling.

Making an
impact.

The biblical approach to missions involves sharing the gospel openly, both publicly and from house to house, planting churches, and raising up local leaders who can carry the work forward. Time and again, God has proven that this method is His wisdom, empowering faithful men and women to lead and sustain the church.

Indigenous leaders are uniquely equipped to serve because they understand their language, culture, and people. They don’t need extensive cultural training and are already trusted members of their communities.

Our mission is to support these leaders—encouraging them to stay faithful to the Lord, nurturing the local church, and inspiring continued church planting in their own nations. We are committed to supporting them both spiritually and materially as they faithfully carry out this work.
