overcoming fear
Fundraising may feel daunting at first, but don’t let that discourage you! Time and again, we’ve witnessed God’s incredible provision for His work in ways that have exceeded our expectations. There are countless believers who have a deep desire to see the gospel reach every corner of the world but, for various reasons, may not be able to go themselves at this moment. Through prayer, encouragement, and financial backing, they become essential partners in advancing the Kingdom of God.
write a letter

This method works especially well when multiple team members from the same church or community can join forces, but it’s also effective for an individual fundraiser. The key is creating an event that’s both enjoyable and impactful.
Social Media
Share updates about your trip and funding goals regularly on social media in the weeks leading up to your departure. Include a direct link to the Hope Ministries International donation page or your personal fundraising page to make giving quick and easy for your supporters. Keep your followers engaged by posting frequent updates on your progress, celebrating milestones, and sharing how their support is making a difference. This ongoing connection helps build excitement and encourages others to join in your mission.
