At the heart of HMI is the ministry of Short-Term Mission Trips, each uniquely shaped by the specific needs of those being served and by the work that God intends to accomplish through the team on that particular journey. While every trip has its own distinct focus, there is one constant that unites them all: the fellowship shared among team members. Each day begins and ends with prayer, worship, testimony, the study of Scripture, and communal meals, creating an environment where individuals from different backgrounds, denominations, and cultures come together in a unified purpose—serving and glorifying Jesus Christ.
It is within this fellowship that the daily activities of the trip transform from mere tasks into profound, shared experiences. The simple acts of prayer, worship, and breaking bread fill the days with rich, colorful memories of what God has done in and through a group of willing servants. These moments of unity and mutual support are difficult to capture in words—they can only truly be understood through firsthand experience. The only way to grasp the depth of this journey is to take part in it. To experience it is to know what it means to be part of a team bound by a common love for Christ and a shared commitment to His mission.
